🎓 ELIGIBILITY DETAILS

Paper I (Classes I-V)

  • Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or appearing in the final year.
  • Senior Secondary (12th) with 45% marks and a 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE 2002 norms).
  • Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or appearing.
  • Graduation with a B.Ed. or other specified combinations.
  • Paper II (Classes VI-VIII)

  • Graduation with 50% marks and a 1-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or appearing.
  • Graduation with 45% marks and a 1-year B.Ed. (as per NCTE 2002 norms).
  • Senior Secondary (12th) with 50% marks and a 4-year B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed..
  • Post Graduation with 55% marks and a 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed program.

    ADDITIONAL DETAILS

    • Size of the photograph should be between 10 kb to 100 kb and Dimension of photograph should be 3.5 cm (width) x 4.5 cm (height) in JPG/JPEG format.
    • Signature: File should be JPG/JPEG format between 3 kb to 30 kb and Image Dimension of signature should be 3.5 cm (length) x 1.5 cm (height).
    • QUALIFYING MARKS AND AWARD OF CTET CERTIFICATE: As per NCTE Notification No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.
    • VALIDITY PERIOD OF CTET CERTIFICATE: The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.
